Palace and Park Museum-Reserve of Alupka was created in 1990. The museum-reserve includes the Vorontsov Palace Museum, Alupka Park, a monument of landscape art and Massandra Palace-Museum of Alexander III. The Museum Reserve contains numerous monuments of cultural heritage, reflecting the romantic trend in the palace architecture of the first half of the XIX century.

The palace complex of the Vorontsov Palace in Alupka, consists of five buildings, built in 1828-1848 under the project of English architect Edward Blore (1789-1879 years) for the Governor-General of Novorossiysk Territory Count M.S. Vorontsov (1782-1856 years). Ceremonial Hall of the palace, decorated in the style of a traditional English interior, is almost completely preserved in its original state. The unique originality of the Blue living room is given by the finest stucco ornament of flowers and leaves. The decoration of the lobby and the Main dining room remains knights' hall decoration in medieval castles. In winter garden preserved ficus- repens climbing the walls. The halls are exhibited with paintings and sculptures of Russian and Western European artists, there are various items of decorative and applied arts.

The interior exhibition includes "The House of Count A.P. Shuvalov", "Cabinet of Count Vorontsov-Dashkova" and "Cabinet of State Villas commandant ", telling about the different periods in the life of the palace and the museum. They are located in a wing of the Shuvalov and in guest house. It also has the permanent exhibition: "The Gift of Professor V.N. Golubev", " Paris archive", "Poetic Landscape" (works by People's artist of Ukraine Y.A. Basov (1914-2004)).

In the premises of the Economic body established permanent exposition "Vorontsovskaya kitchen", "Apartment Butler" and the exhibition hall "Under the plane tree."

In the conference hall building there are presented temporary exhibitions, which are constantly updated.

South terraces of the palace are decorated by Florentine fountains and vases of Carrara marble. On diabase stairs leading to the sea, in 1848, was installed the Lions sculptures, carved from Carrara marble in the studio of the Italian sculptor Giovanni Bonanni.

The palace is surrounded by an old park, which spreads over an area of ​​more than 30 hectares. It combines characteristic features of the largest landscape parks in Europe, and features due to mountainous terrain of Alupka. There are more than 200 species of exotic trees and plants. The abundance of mountain is springs used to create artificial lakes and numerous cascading waterfalls. Picturesque views of Mount Ai-Petri are open from spacious field.

In the Lower Park near the sea in 1834 was built a pavilion in the classical style, later it was named "Tea House".
