The Simferopol Art Museum will present the personal exhibition of Alexander Kropko "Labirint".  Graphics artist invites the viewer into the labyrinth of associations, going beyond the real world.  

 

The museum administration told the travel portal that the exhibition will feature 28 graphic works by the artist - drawings in ink, watercolor, acrylic, prints. 

"Alexander Petrovich is ready to tell about each of them at the opening of the exhibition, - the museum noted. - The presentation will take place in a chamber format, without musical accompaniment, but with live communication." 

The exposition includes works created over more than 30 years of Kropko's activity, from the Bakhchsaray landscape with ink "House in Maguldur", to the series "Half-timbered houses" and the still-life "Pisces and Pitchers". 

"Throughout his creative career, the artist turns to the philosophical images of the sea, old seaside cities, marine inhabitants, - the museum explained. - His works are a figment of imagination, fantasy, and invite the viewer to pass through the labyrinth of associations." 

The architect and artist Kropko participates in more than 200 all-Ukrainian, foreign, republican, regional and other exhibitions.  The main technique of the artist's work is watercolor.  The exhibition "Labirint" will open on November 24 at 14.00 in the hall of the Crimean Art of the Simferopol Art Museum (Karl Liebknecht Str., 25) and will work till December 24.
